'Our daughter joined Dance Avenue in 2012. Miss Peta took her under her wing at a time when she could not speak or understand English properly, I used to be awestruck to watch how Miss Peta made her understand her steps with so much care. In 2018, our teenage daughter moved dance schools and joined Dance Avenue. She found her new dance family.
We were welcomed so warmly, by Peta and her wonderful team of teachers, and given every support needed to settle in quickly and comfortably. Our daughter was delighted to find she could continue with all her favourite dance styles, and join the performance team, and I was delighted to find a manageable timetable of classes. Dance Avenue provide structured, safe classes so your child can learn correct technique, and have fun, while developing confidence in their steady improvements. In a year, I have seen my child’s dancing improve enormously, her technique improves constantly, her confidence grows with every new achievement and her heart is full with the friendships she has formed and the support she is experiencing. Our daughter has blossomed through the enormous support that all the Dance Avenue dancers give each other and she even found that completing a dance exam was a supportive and bonding experience with the other dancers in her class.
Dance Avenue is organised, friendly, supportive, and affordable, has open communication and places the child’s best interests at the forefront of all decisions. Dance Avenue support their dancers dreams, whether it is to dance for fun or plan for a future in dance, whilst instilling in their dancers to always do their best but enjoy what they are doing.
